It is of the utmost importance to protect the coastlines and the waterways as this has proudly supported many generations of Mainers and many more to come. Our commitment to education and the lobster industry is to educate high school age students about the proud history of lobstering in the State of Maine by offering co-op study programs. These programs introduce students to lobstering and the logistics needed to support the trade. We recognize the next era of lobstermen, seafood salesmen, and friends of the lobster industry are just finishing up high school and its important that they know about career options available to them.
